Valuing coastal ecosystems for resilient planning in Vietnam

Working on behalf of the World Bank, we developed a framework for valuing the ecosystem services of mangroves, wetlands and coastal forests in Vietnam. The project strengthens the economic and policy case for nature-based solutions, supporting their integration into national planning and more resilient coastal development.

Building financial resilience through sovereign parametric insurance in the Pacific

We supported the Pacific Catastrophe Risk Insurance Company to design a sovereign parametric insurance product for excess rainfall events, strengthening financial resilience across 14 Pacific Island Countries. The product uses advanced rainfall modelling to trigger rapid post-disaster funding and support economic stability.

Urban flood resilience in Bujumbura and Gatumba, Burundi

We worked with the World Bank and the Government of Burundi to design a risk-informed investment strategy for urban flood resilience in Bujumbura and Gatumba. The strategy set out immediate and long-term actions, supported by detailed hazard and risk models, to guide ongoing resilience planning.
